BOAT ACCESS ONLY - ISLAND PROPERTY
We will give a boat ride over to the island, and back, plus one ride over and back for weekly renters. If you need any extra rides to go into town shopping, for example, we would charge $20 for the ride to the marina and back.

LOCATION
90 minutes north of Toronto, 10 Minutes from downtown Orillia by boat across the lake to the Port of Orillia, or 15 minutes by boat/car) for shopping and all amenities. 2 minutes across the lake to Ojibway Bay Marina, with paid parking. 5 minutes to Rama, with small grocery store, gas and Casino Rama. Visit the Rama Moccasin and Smoke Shop for aboriginal art and souvenirs. Longford Meats is 5 minutes down Rama Road for all meats, including famous fresh Cowboy Steaks, and home-baked pies.
THE PROPERTY
100' of treed property on either side between you and your neighbours. Cottage has 3 decks, all with patio tables: one overlooking the lake to watch kids swimming, and viewing beautiful sunsets; breakfast deck off the kitchen; and large deck in back with propane BBQ for shaded evening dining facing the small pond and lawns/ natural gardens.
THE LAKE
Great for swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and tubing. Canoe around the island in less than an hour. Rocky bottom, with clear water is great for swimming. Lake Couchiching means "lake of many winds", and if you have a windsurfer, this is the place for you.
A 5 minute boat ride can take you around the other side of Big Chief Island, a popular weekend boaters' hotspot with shallow sandy bottom for swimming, water games and socializing.

- Boat access only - this is an island! Dock with boat lift for 19 ft. boat.

We offer a boat ride over and back. If requested, boat service can be arranged to marina where you can drive to town for shopping/laundromat/LLBO etc. We are next door most of the time in the summer so requests can often be accommodated at small charge*. - Children - Yes
